The Pre® platform transforms pitch events and innovation competitions into dynamic, engaging, and rewarding experiences by allowing the audience to assume the role of mock investors. Participants are provided with PreMoney®—a virtual currency within the Pre app—to invest in startup pitches. This level of audience engagement not only enhances the event atmosphere but also yields valuable feedback for startups and offers unique insights for actual investors.

How It Functions:

• The event organizer assumes the role of Host and configures the pitch event within the Pre app.
• Attendees join the event using a designated Event Code and receive PreMoney® to support startups through simulated investments.
• Startups compete to garner PreMoney from the audience, vying to attract the most virtual funds.
• Participants act as PreInvestors, striving to make strategic investments. They can also rate pitches and provide direct feedback through messaging.
• Upon conclusion, the app immediately presents two leaderboards:
  • The Startup Leaderboard ranks the top three startups based on PreMoney raised, with categories for both judges or an expert panel and the audience, which may be used to designate a 'crowd favorite.'
  • The PreInvestor Leaderboard highlights the top three investments with the highest Return on Investment (ROI) achieved during the event.

Additional Features:

• The analytics dashboard offers insights into individual investment performance and overall engagement during past events.
• The Resources section serves as an educational hub, curated with articles and videos on entrepreneurship, investing, capital raising, and related topics.
• Users can update their profiles and link social media accounts to enhance their visibility within the platform.
